It was a lot of work from start to finish (we drove up to NYC immediately following CAN I KICK IT? Tues. night), but I must say that our first BizBash trade show (on Wed.) yielded success for us in a variety of ways. If you’re unfamiliar with BizBash they’re one of America’s top sources for news, ideas and resources for event and meeting professionals, via their websites, web tools, and exhibitions.
BizBash NYC, which took place at the Jacob Javitz Center, gave us an opportunity to meet and network with a range of event specialists from brands and institutions such as Westin Hotels, NYU, and Viacom, where we, for six hours straight, got a chance to speak to them about our SHAOLIN JAZZ multimedia engagements.
We, for the most part, have conducted the majority of our engagements at colleges and universities and us exhibiting at BizBash is our first big push at developing business in the corporate space.
Despite only getting three hours of sleep and dealing with the grind of NYC morning and evening commuter traffic the show was more than worth it (we’ll be back) and to check out the recap click Read the rest of this entry
