Classic Fusion: Dopium vs The Drunken Master, designed by Late Night Genius.
I designed a series of comic book style visuals when we screened Big Trouble in Little China and since they were so well received I decided to design another set for our screening of The Golden Child (Tues. Mar. 22nd at SongByrd). To RSVP for our next CAN I KICK IT? click here and to view more of the visuals click Read the rest of this entry
Introducing “perspectives,” our newest campaign which takes lead from our Lifestyle Marketing Interns (LMI). “perspectives” features photos that our LMI’s have shot, using their cell phones, of their environment (people, places, food, etc…) that they feel best relates to a SHAOLIN JAZZ project or engagement.
The images are then visually enhanced by the design team at Late Night Genius giving one both a unique perspective on the LMI’s environment in addition to the perspective of our specific project or engagement.
For our inaugural edition of “perspectives” we’ve asked our LMIs to take photos of objects that they feel best relates to our Byrd Over Staten release. We will highlight new “perspectives” visuals weekly and please check out the initial range by clicking Read the rest of this entry
Our 1st CAN I KICK IT? of 2015 was nothing short of dope. Despite not having done one since Nov. ’14 and us conducting it in another room in Marvin, people showed and proved with their attendance and really engaging both facets of the event: the movie and the accompanying music. Salute to all of the attendees, Marvin for bringing us back, Shaw Bros Films for asking us to be apart of their re-emergence campaign, Madison Davenport PR, Som Records and Palace 5ive, and Lyft as our transportation sponsor.
Stay tuned for more as we’re now doing CAN I KICK IT? the fourth Tuesday of every month on Marvin’s upstairs deck. For more recap pics click Read the rest of this entry
