This month at CAN I KICK IT? we’re bringing you a true cult contemporary martial arts classic – “Hard to Kill,” starring one of Hollywood’s most enigmatic stars: Steven Seagal. Come thru to Songbyrd on Tues. July 26th from 6-10 PM as 2-Tone creates another unique experience mixing classic tracks with the film. For more info and to RSVP click here.

This month is going to be crazy. Not only are we prepping for our trip to Ethiopia, but we also have a range of SHAOLIN JAZZ college engagements, starting with Siena College. The good people at the Damietta Cross-Cultural Center and SEB Coffeehouse are bringing us out this Thurs as apart of their Hip-Hop Week to conduct CAN I KICK IT? If you’re in the area or know someone that is whom you feel would be interested in attending feel free to share this post.
So much is going on with SHAOLIN JAZZ that I forgot to mention that we’ve brought in some creative heads to assist within our marketing and design departments. Introducing first, JaMon Jackson who hails from Atlanta, GA. This is one of the visuals he’s developed for our CAN I KICK IT? visual language, where we visually discuss the synergies between hip-hop and martial arts. Despite the snow, nothing but good times at our first CAN I KICK IT? of 2016.
