The closing reception for CHAMBERS was, hands down, one of the best closing receptions that I’ve had the pleasure of being apart of and most definitely ended our exhibition in proper form. The Instant Vintage vinyl record fair, featuring some of the areas finest vinyl record collectors, and producer showcase, featuring some DC’s most notable beat-smiths making Wu-Tang inspired beats, served as perfect complements to what many guests considered as a more than memorable night. Thank you to everyone who attended, salute to all of those that helped spread the word, and props to our partners at ART WHINO and BLIND WHINO for helping to make this happen. Stay tuned for more is all I’m gonna say…

If you enjoyed the opening reception for our CHAMBERS: Wu-Tang Art Exhibition, that we flipped with ART WHINO, then you’ll definitely want to check our closing reception (11.4), which will be something special for music lovers and true fans of Hip Hop.
The event, on Friday November 4th, will kick off with an Instant Vintage pop-up record fair and auction featuring some of the area’s finest vendors of Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Jazz and Rock music on wax. Throughout that portion of the evening DJs from the DC Vinyl Headz collective will be spinning music from the each vendor that will be available for sale.
The second portion of the evening will be a Wu Tang Clan-themed producer showcase featuring some of the finest beatsmiths in the DC area. The evening’s festivities will be hosted by DJ 2-Tone Jones.

The opening reception of our CHAMBERS exhibition was nothing short of dope. Major ‘thank you’ to our partners Art Whino/Blind Whino for bringing together a more than solid stable of participating artists. Hats off to all of the talented artists whose works showed their range of talent and abilities across an array of mediums. You’d be hard pressed to find just one favorite.
Shouts to the Diamond Cutterz DJ crew for spinning what felt like the right Wu-Tang track where the last one left off, which thoroughly complemented the visuals. Thanks to all of the art lovers who attended. Whether you were an art aficionado or Wu-Tang fan, like-minds were in the building to celebrate and elevate culture. No worries if you missed the opening reception, as the exhibition will be up (call to make an appointment) and we’ll be holding a closing reception on Thursday October 27th, which, mark my words, will surely pick up where the opening reception left off.
