CAN I KICK IT? / feat Enter the Dragon / Recap
Taking risks are apart of business, but when you build your brand a certain way and you plan and execute your marketing strategy properly those risks pay off and our final CAN I KICK IT? of 2017 exemplifies that risk, as we decided to conduct it the day after Christmas, despite a number of people responding after hearing the news, “You’re going to it when?” and “Are you sure, its the day after Christmas?”
The answers to those questions came in the form of us having our biggest crowd to date at Songbyrd, where standing-room-only quickly came into effect. And the irony is that Songbyrd actually bought more chairs which was great because they did get used, however, the demand persisted.

We’d like to thank all of those who attended on Tues and salute to everyone who’s supported CAN I KICK IT? and SHAOLIN JAZZ through 2017. We’ve made some significant gains this year and 2018 is looking brighter. Thank you to Songbyrd for their very generous support, from day one last year, which has helped us to grow CAN I KICK IT? in a variety of ways. Special shouts to Black Pepper Paperie for being this month’s featured brand in our pop-up shop and shouts to all of the brand who we featured this year. And thanks to all of the individuals and our media partners who’ve helped spread the word about CAN I KICK IT? Your outreach has been much appreciated.
We look forward to seeing everyone in 2018 on the fourth Tues of every month and for all SHAOLIN JAZZ info click here.
