The SHAOLIN JAZZ Marketing Internship
We at SHAOLIN JAZZ are searching for a Marketing Intern (MI) to assist with our college/university marketing efforts. Our Marketing Intern (MI) program consists of a network of creative and influential individuals, such as yourself, who have an interest in learning creative marketing, specifically transmedia, and how the utilization of social media can be used to grow positive impact while stimulating healthy conversation from our diverse range of content. The MI will have experience with social media on a personal level (at a minimum), should thrive working independently and remotely, and have a strong knowledge base of or experience working within the spaces of music, art, fashion, and education. You will be given the history of SHAOLIN JAZZ, including our past and upcoming creative extensions. The MI must be able to then think strategically with an eye as to how social media can be used to create interest in our brand, from our creative extensions, via organically engaging your student body, neighboring institutions of higher education, and demographic. Scope of work:
- Assist in the development of social media action plans
- Upload content (photos, video, verbiage)
- Sourcing new users to follow/friend/like SHAOLIN JAZZ
- Tracking the growth and impact of social media campaigns
- Report findings
- Provide intel on budding trends in tech, marketing/communications, music, art, fashion, and education
