NY Skateboarding: 5Boro Part 1
Looking forward to these as they drop – NY Skateboarding documents the 5Boro team for a series of interviews.
Actually been a fan of 5Boro for a minute, the team, the graphics, and overall aesthetic struck a nerve with me. Steve Rodriguez, the owner of the brand, has even supported some of my projects in the past and I’ve always stayed in contact.
Beyond the support, the best part for me, if you do some research, is that Steve is a huge jazz head who schooled me on the fact that he’s used a variety of jazz tracks in their videos, so I pretty much flipped when we first dropped SHAOLIN JAZZ and Steve approached me about including some of the project’s tracks into their forthcoming video. That won’t be happening but I think its still a dope story.
